01 Diet:

05 Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing Sunscreen is mantra for glowing skin. Cleanser / Face wash:                                                                                          
You should wash your face twice daily with a cleanser or  facewash  made for your skin type. It   is very important to go to your doctor and know your skin type and the right skin care products for you. Do not experiment with your skin. Different type of skin types need different facewash or cleansers. ( eq. dry skin needs cream based facewash oily skin needs gel based ones.)

There are special facewashes available for pimple prone skin and for skin with blemishes , tanning and pigmentation. In many people it is necessary to change their facewash/ cleanser with the changing seasons. Your doctor will prescribe the right one for you.

Moistuirisers :
Application of  MOISTURISER  is necessary in all types of skin and in all seasons. Even the oily skin needs moisturizer. Too much of cold or heat, in both conditions skin's natural moisture gets depleted. So apply moisturizer in all seasons.

One should choose moisturizer considering type of their skin. For example, a person with dry skin can apply oil based moisturizer but it is not suitable for oily skin or a person with pimple prone skin. Such people should look for water based moisturizers.

SUNSCREENS:

  • Wear sunscreen daily with SPF>15 even on cloudy rainy day, 30 mins before sun exposure to all exposed areas.
  • Reapply every 3-4 hours and immediately after swimming and strenuous activity and excessive sweating.
  • It should be applied as a good thick film and in enough quantity.
  • A sunscreen should not be rubbed but spread lightly as rubbing makes it sink into sweat glands and skin lines thus decreases its efficacy by giving uneven protection.
